Learn to run program starting Monday Sptember 13th. This program will prepare you to run the 2km or 5km at The Gold Rush run October 10th. Program are on Mondays and Wednesdays @6h30. Register at Northern Sports.
Guy and Marc Take on the Great Canadian Kayak Challenge!
Friends and Northern Sports owners Guy Chenier and Marc Roy participated in the 2010 Great Canadian Kayak Challenge this past weekend. Guy placed 3rd and Marc placed 9th in the 6.5 km novice category! They completed the challenge in their Necky Kayaks.

Ottawa race weekend

CONGRATULATIONS to Russel Wood and Monica Taylor for completing the Boston marathon!! You are AMAZING!!! Russell completed the race in a time of 3:06:01 and Monica in a time of 3:48:59
Local Mountain Bikers win 1st place
Congratulations to Marc-Antoine and Marie-Pierre Nadon, local mountain bikers sponsored by Northern Sports who won 1st place this past weekend at the XC Plastiglas Ontario Cup in Mansfield. Marc-Pierre competed in the Minime (13-14) Female and Marc-Antoine competed in the Cadet (15-16) Expert male. Your hard work and dedication paid off. You should be very proud of yourselves.
